Awesome resource explaining the science of wave formation.
Waves can be super fun to play in. Surf kayaking is one of my favorite things to do in a kayak. They can also be scary. Landing a loaded sea kayak through a big dumping shore break can be terrifying. Either way, understanding waves can make either experience safer and more fun.
MagicSeaWeed.com has an awesome resource for explaining the science of waves. Lot's of detail, but well worth a read. Thanks to Buck for the tip.
